So I am going to try and remember to write here at least once a week.  I know you all missed my craziness and everyone can always use a good dose!

Last week I graduated with my Associate’s Degree in Multimedia/Web Design. Woohoo!  Which prompted me to set up my site to do some freelancing while continuing my education.  Since I’m a tutor at Chesapeake College I have the summer off and I’m going to spend it with my family in Arizona.

You can see some of my work  at  I’m currently working on updating the Alice site I did my first semester for this degree.  A darker updated site.

For the final week of class we had our annual party and of course I made cupcakes.  This was my first time piping roses, but they turned out alright.  Painting the Roses Red!

And most recently I saved a kitten.  My friend Kristen had some living under her shed that we tried to catch.  So far only this one has been caught, which sucks because we also want the black one!  Here is my Alice.

Rather annoying little shit loves to scratch the hell out of me, but I love her anyway.

2 more days and WildStar releases!  Well, for those of us that pre-ordered.  Super excited to play this new game!  I played in beta and it rocked.  So that is all I plan to do next week with my nephew.  For now I suppose I should go work on my Alice site!

Wow, I can’t believe that it has been almost a year since I posted something.  Time really flies when you are busy!  I am now 1 class away from my second Associate’s Degree, ugh stupid math, and am currently doing an internship.

I finally have a site that I built live. While I am annoyed with her right now, I will share …

For now I cannot share the site I am doing for my internship, but hopefully soon they will approve it and then I can.

During their Spring Break my sister brought her kids up, and they were sooo happy about the snow.  I’m glad someone was, because all of us here in MD were so over it by the time March hit.  Anyway, while they were here we made some awesome TMNT cupcakes!

They had to have more than just happy faces according to my nephew.. so some apparently had their pizza stolen and had to cry.

I found an interesting show on History… Cryptid The Swamp Beast.  It is a mix of fact and fiction and pretty damn interesting.

OH and don’t forget to go to and check out the beta keys for Wildstar.  Seems like it is going to be an awesome game.  I played some of the beta this past weekend and I can say it was pretty good.

On that note.. I’m going to go play some video games since work is slow!

Yes, I know I have been neglectful once again.  Summertime has gotten to me.  All the humidity and heat has me being uber lazy!  I have managed to check out a new game – Neverwinter.  Based on Dungeons and Dragons, free to download, free to play, officially out of beta on the 20th.  I was a little skeptical as I have no knowledge of D&D, but figured what’s the harm in trying something free?  Totally awesome.  Great gameplay, good toons, lots to do.  AND there is player made content!!! The Foundry rocks.  Some of the player made content has to do with the game and the lore, and some is totally random.  There are some very hilarious foundry quests.  If you have time, definitely check it out!  This is my Control Wizard standing on a giant awesome clock!

I did come up with my own foundry quest to create, it just takes a lot of time and patience to get it together.  Hopefully, I will develop more patience so I can finish making it.  The script was apparently the easy part lol.

I saw Man of Steel on Saturday…. meh.  It was the kind of movie that is good to see in a theater, but I realized that I thought of other things a few times during the movie and a really good one would have kept my attention.  The end was great tho.  Overall, worth seeing once but I doubt I’d ever watch it again.  Now You See Me is a completely different story.  LOVED IT.  Totally grabbed my attention and held it.  Didn’t see the end coming and I want the movie!  Go see it!

My grandfather is coming next week so that means I am forced to put my room away and clean up.  I was leaving stuff in boxes because the basement isn’t finished, but it has to look nice when he visits.  I’m sure some of you understand.

I want to make some honey wheat bread this week, but the process is so long every time I look at the recipe I go.. nah.  Maybe if I make cupcakes at the same time… cuz then the dough could rise while I do other stuff.. maybe.. Totally depends on whether or not I can get over this “nothing looks good maybe I’ll just starve” week. I love food and I hate eating it when nothing looks/tastes good!  I totally bought myself some White Castle frozen burgers to eat tho, I mean I figure I can’t not eat those.. so yummy!  I wish they were fresh from White Castle, but the closest is in like PA!

Trying to figure a way to make some money so I can go visit some friends in Canada.  It isn’t overly expensive to drive there, but right now it is out of my budget.  I’ll just dream of all that I could see along the way and all the fun we could have until I can find a better job doing what I actually like.  Sadly, it seems that even finding a contracting job for web design/development is out of my reach.  I will keep hoping and ranting on for all of you til then =P

So like many others, I’m addicted to Pinterest.  Especially the food and drink because I love to try new recipes (especially easy ones!).  Well, lately there has been a lot on there for paleo eating.  Which I’m not really into, but since I want to eat healthier I was intrigued by some of the stuff they do with cauliflower.  So yesterday I’m like pierogies sound awesome, but they are so bad for me!  So, brilliant idea, I’ll make the mashed cauliflower I keep seeing on Pinterest that everyone says is so good. Bad Idea.  It does not taste anything like mashed potatoes.  I love garlic and olive oil, but it got a bad aftertaste since cauliflower doesn’t really taste like much.  /sad fail.  I think I’ll just make real mashed potato pierogies (the lazy way – in wonton wrappers.).

However, I did successfully make some pizza “cupcakes.” Bisquick mix, milk, cheese, onion, and pepperoni – mix well.  Then stick it in a cupcake pan (sprayed with cooking spray) and cook about 10-12 min.  I needed to use more pepperoni, onion, and cheese because while it looked like a lot – turns out when it puffs up they weren’t enuff.  Easy fix for next time!Image

I’m working on some vamp stuff to post, because I’ve been bored and because I’m totally interested in the evolution of the vampire recently.  And guess what!  Next season’s Once Upon a Time is in WONDERLAND!  So excited!  It better be awesome or I might cry lol.

So I know she isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I LOVE Emilie Autumn.  I think she is an amazing artist and has so much talent for so many things!  Plus, she’s bipolar like me so seeing how much she has accomplished helps me think I can too!  She recently released a video and one of my friends back in Arizona is actually in it!  Kinda cool to be watching it and then going “oh oh I know him!”  I don’t know what her inspiration was for this video, but it’s the best music video ever.  Just the right mix of fucking crazy, sex, and awesomeness.  Emilie Autumn is about as girly as I get and she’s fairly girly to an extent lol.

I’ve been working on getting my things brought down from my old room to the new, super unexciting but necessary. At least it’s at least 10 degrees cooler down here most of the time now that it’s getting hot, humid, and nasty.  Gonna have to work on my tan soon so that I’m not blinding people when we go to Florida in July.  Crossing my fingers that the internship I requested information about will allow telecommuting, hopefully I hear back on Monday!

Today I noticed that The Bates Motel was on A&E so I thought I’d finally see what all the fuss was about.  I don’t get it.  Maybe because I didn’t watch it from the beginning, but I am so lost about so many things.  And because of that I can’t decide if I like it or not.  It does draw my attention pretty well, but who knows.  I am very excited that Falling Skies season premiere is soon, that show rocks.  This week was the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy and of course they left a huge cliffhanger!  Not as bad as last season, but still one that had me yelling at the tv.  My plan next week is to watch Defiance and see if that’s any good.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention.. Tuesday was my birthday!  My kick ass friend Megan got me a new Jack Skellington wallet!  AND cupcake supplies!  New liners, gel, icing, and sprinkles.  So this week I have to figure out a new recipe to try.  I’m thinking maybe chocolate-orange.  That’s always a tasty combination.  Anyway, now that you’ve finished reading all my jibber jabber.. here it is!

While I don’t usually go out of my way to listen to country music, it is always one of the kinds I turn to when commercials come on the radio.  And lately I’ve been kinda into turning it on more.  Love me some Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town, The Band Perry, and Taylor Swift.  Today is totally a country day.  Had to spend some time getting together a list of why my mother should buy what computer and cell phone because she is tech stupid lol.

I’ve decided to go dark background bright pop of flowers for my design assignment. I’m thinking a color pop similar to this:bluelips rainbowlips

I like the shine and the colors.. not sure how to do it, but i will figure it out damnit! Any hints would be appreciated!

Totally trying to think of some cupcakes to make for finals day for my multimedia class.  I want it to be something artistic and creepy.  Possibly spiders.  I’d have to do something more with them tho.  I could always make some Alice ones – a mix of Disney’s Alice and American McGee’s.

On another note, the lady I was tutoring on Dreamweaver is awesome and I can now dye my hair and go buy American McGee’s Alice: Madness Returns for PS3 so that I can get the add-on for the original!  I’ve been dying to play the original for years now! Nothing like a new video game to stop productivity on school work! Luckily I like most of my school work so I’ll still do it.

I’m curious, any of you have anything you’d like to see me write about? I’m always up for a challenge!

So last time I posted I left you with this photo:

And I promised to give you my answer this time.  While I don’t regret anything in my life because I consider it all a learning experience there were some amazing days I’d love/hate to do all over again.  There aren’t really any parameters set here, but I’m going to say those aren’t an option.  What’s interesting is that I don’t really come up with anything.  Many of the things I would love to happen in my life would happen over more than 24 hours and last a lifetime. (like being rich enough to do what I wanted and give back to society).  So my idea comes down to having one day with no inhibition.  I’d almost say with no conscience just because that could inhibit oneself.  I would have some crazy ass day like in Crank.  There are a lot of things I’m curious about that most of us wouldn’t admit out loud that would be interesting to experience. I’ll continue to dream. =)

So I’ve been working on my website for school and I think it’s coming along quite nicely. I have the following pages:

The Key – about Lewis Carroll

Down the Rabbit Hole – about the original books and play

TweedleDee – Movies and TV of Alice in Wonderland

TweedleDum – Movies and TV inspired by Alice

Muchness – Alice in Wonderland Game

Curioser & Curioser – Clothes, jewelry, and tattoos of Alice

Eat Me, Drink Me – Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, drinks, and restaurants inspired by Alice

I also have art, Facebook pages, and other things I want to include.  If anyone has something they love about Alice that they would like me to share, let me know!  Funny thing happened while working on my pages.  I wanted to see if there were any cupcakes based on American McGee’s Alice so I did a Google search.  The first page that shows? My blog! Totally made my day. Don’t forget –

“Sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast” – Alice

I don’t know about all of you, but I watch Food Network almost daily.  I love Restaurant Impossible, Diners Drive-ins and Dives, Iron Chef America and all the rest.  Problem is they make me hungry.  Not just hungry to eat, but hungry to learn how to cook that stuff.  I wish I knew how to do half the things these cooks do.

Like the chefs in Chopped.  Seriously?  Give me one of those baskets and I’d be lost, even with hours to cook.  These people figure it out in minutes!  Or Iron Chef.

They make a bunch of dishes highlighting one ingredient.  And they make the plates pretty all in an hour.  While I could probably cook up some of the things those chefs imagine, if they gave me the recipe and a lot more time, I couldn’t do it on the spot.  I don’t know what spices go well together or what meat compliments what other meat.  I don’t cook (or like) fish.  I definitely couldn’t butcher anything.  But I wish I could.  I wish I had a way to learn all of this (and the budget to buy some of that high-priced food).

And (big surprise here!) I wish I could do on the spot cupcake decisions like on..

Sure these people bake cupcakes most everyday of their life (and know recipes by heart), but in this show it’s all about pressure, time constraints, and very picky judges.  And of course the judges should be picky.  I adore Candace Nelson and Florian Bellanger.  They KNOW their shit. And sometimes the contestants get thrown crazy curve balls like hot dogs, avocados, or tomato soup!  Yea, some of the teams choose some of the required ingredients more to try to wow the judges and screw it up royally, but a few do amazing.  You listen to them tell what’s in the cupcake and you start to feel bad that the judges have to taste it.  Then you see the surprise on the judge’s faces when it’s incredibly delicious.  There is no higher praise than to hear these flavors you just threw together (that no one else would dare) are actually tasty.

Some people may say “Pssh, those are just cupcakes, they aren’t hard.”  I dare those people to make some batter AND frosting from scratch and see how easy it is to get something people will want more of.  To have a cupcake business, and thrive, those flavors have to pop, have to blend perfectly, and have to make people tell all their friends.  Plus, they have to look good otherwise no one is even gonna taste them!

Well, there are a few things in my life I’m semi-obsessed with.  One of these things is anything to do with mental illness and mental hospitals.  I’m talking movies, books, pictures of abandoned places, and anything else you can think of.  So of course one of my favorite movies is Girl, Interrupted.  And something that stuck with me was when they talk about the definition of ambivalence “simultaneous and contradictory attitudes or feelings (as attraction and repulsion) toward an object, person, or action” (  I feel this way about a lot of things in life so the word has stuck with me for years.

Another one of my semi-obsessions is Sons of Anarchy.  I absolutely love this show!! I can’t get enough of it.  It will be a tragedy when the show ends.  I’ve always been fascinated with that sort of life, even when I was a kid, so to see it in a t.v. show was awesome.

Cupcakes. Really need I say more?  The drag queens back in Arizona used to call me their cupcake bitch because I could always be counted on to make cupcakes for a charity show.  Something about making cupcakes just makes me happy.

Since we’re talking about my semi-obsessions I figure I should let you know about the rest.  I love skulls.  Be it metal ones that go on a wall, candle holders, jewelry, anything.  I also love Jack Skellington.  I have purses, coffee cups, shirts, and I always find something new I want on Amazon.  I also love movies.  All different kinds.  Everything from Hello, Dolly! to Resident Evil.  I am a big fan of horror movies (big surprise right?) but when I say that I mean real gore.  I’m not watching any Paranormal Activity crap.  I’m watching Dario Argento’s version of Phantom of the Opera where the phantom bites of a guys tongue and there’s fake blood ALL over.  Yes, I am a twisted freak – Thanks for noticing!

I also have a thing for Laurell K Hamilton.  She writes the best erotica – vampires, werewolves, wereleopards, faeries, etc.  I have almost all of her Anita Blake series and every time a new book comes out I read it in a day and just can’t wait for the next.  I also have a thing for Alice in Wonderland.  I don’t just mean the original cartoon.  I mean anything and everything Alice.  Alice: Madness Returns is amazing.  I wish I had played the original American McGee’s Alice, but alas I don’t have a copy.  Feel free to send me one! hehe.  The darkness applied to the fairy tale rocks.  I mean really the reason Alice even existed was because Lewis Carroll was a tad demented.
